2 h · 20 places · hands-on workshop · take home your floral arrangement and ceramic base
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
A beautiful floral arrangement doesn’t need floral foam
In this workshop, you’ll discover a more natural way to create floral arrangements, using a ceramic base and chicken wire as a support system instead of floral foam.
You’ll work with seasonal flowers grown by Flora et Labora and learn how to place each stem to create a balanced, light and personal composition.
A reusable technique that changes the way you approach floral arrangements and allows flowers to express themselves with much more freedom.
What will we do?
· Get to know the seasonal flowers we’ll use during the workshop
· Learn how to use chicken wire as a support system
· Discover how to place each stem to create a balanced, natural composition
· Create your own floral arrangement on a ceramic base
No experience is necessary. Just bring your enthusiasm for flowers and a desire to discover a different way of creating floral arrangements.
FLORA ET LABORA
Flora et Labora is a floral studio based in Beget, in the Alta Garrotxa region, where they grow their own flowers organically and seasonally. They combine cultivation and floral design with an ethical and aesthetic commitment: working with their own plant material and reducing their impact on the landscape.
WHAT WILL YOU TAKE HOME?
· Your own floral arrangement, created during the workshop
· The ceramic base on which you created your arrangement
