EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
A different approach to floral centrepieces, leaving foam and other single-use materials behind. In this workshop you will discover sustainable techniques that respect both the flowers and the environment, while allowing for lighter, more organic and expressive compositions.
You will work with a ceramic base and chicken wire for support, using seasonal flowers grown by Flora et Labora. You will learn how to place each stem in harmony with its natural movement to build a balanced, personal centrepiece.
FLORA ET LABORA
Flora et Labora is a floral studio based in Beget, in Alta Garrotxa, where they grow their own flowers organically and seasonally. Their work brings together cultivation and floral design for events, weddings and workshops, with an ethical and aesthetic commitment to using their own plant material and reducing impact on the landscape.
WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM THIS EXPERIENCE?
You will learn how to create a floral centrepiece without foam, using a reusable base and chicken wire. You will work with structure, balance and the movement of each stem to compose with seasonal flowers in a freer and more sustainable way.
