EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
Bread made by your own hands tastes different
In this workshop, Mónica will guide you step by step through the entire process of making artisan sourdough bread: from flours and ingredients to kneading and fermentation.
You’ll work with your own dough during the workshop and take it home to finish the process and bake it in your own oven. You’ll also take home a sourdough starter so you can keep making bread on your own.
All you need to bring is a 500 ml container.
What will we do?
· Discover different flours and learn which one is best for each type of bread
· Prepare and understand how sourdough starter works
· Work on kneading and fermentation times
· Work with your own dough and continue the process at home
· Taste breads made with different styles and flours, using organically grown ingredients
No experience is necessary. The workshop is designed for anyone who wants to start making bread at home and hasn’t yet dared to get their hands into the dough.
BONSFOCS
BonsFocs is the project of Mónica, a baker and teacher. She grew up in the mountains, surrounded by the family vegetable garden and the rhythms of the countryside, and has been making bread for 19 years, recovering traditional methods and working with respect for ingredients and their natural timings.
