EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
In this workshop you will work with flowers grown by Flora et Labora in tune with nature and the seasons. You will discover their naturalistic approach to floristry: observing each stem, understanding how flowers relate to one another, and composing through movement, proportion and balance.
Moving away from the rules of a conventional bouquet, you will experiment with flowers, foliage and less familiar materials to create a free, organic and personal arrangement to take home.
FLORA ET LABORA
Flora et Labora is a floral studio based in Beget, in Alta Garrotxa, where they grow their own flowers organically and seasonally. Their work brings together cultivation and floral design for events, weddings and workshops, with an ethical and aesthetic commitment to using their own plant material and reducing impact on the landscape.
WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM THIS EXPERIENCE?
You will learn how to observe and select floral material, combine volumes, textures and movement, and build a balanced bouquet without relying on rigid formulas. You will leave with the foundations of naturalistic composition and an arrangement made with seasonal flowers.
