WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Discover the exciting world of Swiss cheeses through a unique storytelling workshop designed for children. Using the history of Tête de Moine AOP and Emmentaler AOP, two cheeses with centuries of tradition, kids will learn how they are made, what makes them special, and why they are part of Swiss culture.

During the activity, we will explore different varieties, learn fun and original ways to present them, create the famous cheese flowers with the Girolle, and, of course, taste them. Each participant will also receive an illustrated comic to color and take home as a keepsake of this educational, sensory, and delicious experience.

A journey to the heart of Switzerland through its cheese-making tradition… with games, creativity, and lots of flavor!

WORKSHOP HOST

Judith Forner is a specialist in artisan cheeses and passionate about natural cooking. Trained also in performing arts, she combines knowledge and fun to convey the tradition and ancestral process of cheesemaking in a close and memorable way.

CHEESES FROM SWITZERLAND

Cheeses from Switzerland represents much more than food: it is the fusion of tradition, nature, and artisanal excellence.

Made exclusively with fresh milk from cows fed on hay, grass, and natural pastures, with no feed or additives, Swiss cheeses are 100% natural, gluten-free, and in most cases also lactose-free.

Commitment to animal welfare and sustainability is a hallmark. These practices preserve alpine landscapes, maintain biodiversity, and guarantee unsurpassed quality.

Switzerland produces over 1,000 cheese varieties, some of which have become true international icons: Appenzeller®, Emmentaler AOP, Gruyère AOP, and Tête de Moine AOP, each with its unique character, history, and flavor.
