WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
In this workshop, we will create a small centerpiece with flowers and greenery, using chicken wire as a support. It is a sustainable technique that does not require floral foam, which is toxic and highly polluting.
We will work exclusively with seasonal flowers, grown organically and handcrafted by Flora et Labora. We will begin with a brief introduction about the varieties we will use, how to clean and prepare them correctly. Then, we will move on to composition, exploring balance, movement, and volume to achieve a harmonious and natural arrangement.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Flora et Labora is a floral studio with a distinctive feature. They grow their own flowers from seed to final arrangement in an organic, handcrafted, and strictly seasonal manner.
This particularity that defines their project stems from an ethical and aesthetic need. Controlling the plant’s cycle allows them to drastically reduce their ecological footprint while working with varieties not found in conventional florists.
The result of each of their creations is unique, different, and changes throughout the four seasons.
