WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
We will begin with a brief introduction to analog photography and share some tips on how to observe and capture the market through a narrative lens: details, spontaneous moments, processes, and small portraits that tell the story of the event.
Afterward, we will put these ideas into practice by exploring the market and photographing its atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own analog camera and a roll of film, and we will also have some cameras available for the group so that everyone can participate.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
08mm is a photography community founded in Barcelona in November 2024 by Calvin Koukoui and Kiana Beijleveld. The project was born to create a space where people passionate about photography can connect, learn, and create together through workshops, photowalks, and meetups.
Since then, they have organized workshops, social events, talks, exhibitions, and collaborations with studios, labs, and cultural spaces, with the goal of making photography more accessible, social, and vibrant.
WHAT WILL YOU GAIN FROM THE EXPERIENCE?
You will learn the basic principles of analog photography and how to observe the All Those Food Market through a photographic lens. During a photowalk through the market, we will put these ideas into practice by capturing details, moments, and scenes from the event.
At the end, you will share your images with the group, and some of them may be selected for publication on All Those social media channels, with full credit to the authors.
