EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
Lose the fear of what you're being served in your glass
A session to get closer to the world of wine, understand what's in front of you and start enjoying it with more confidence and less intimidation.
Have you ever said "tannin"? What exactly is orange wine? In this tasting, we'll cover the essentials, from grape to fermentation, and explore how soil, climate and the producer's hand shape the personality of each wine.
We'll taste 5 different wines, including whites, reds and special styles such as orange wines and sparkling wines, to discover different styles and start putting words to what we find in the glass.
You'll learn how to taste wine step by step and recognise aromas, flavours, textures and differences between wines. You'll also understand what lies behind a bottle and how to use this knowledge to make more confident choices from a wine list.
How it works
Jérôme will guide the tasting as we try the different wines and discuss what we find in each glass. There will be plenty of room for questions, comparing impressions and leaving space for improvisation.
No experience is required. The session is designed for anyone who wants to discover the world of wine in an open and curious way, understand better what they're drinking and find out which styles they enjoy most.
JÉRÔME
Jérôme Siffermann has been immersed in the world of natural, artisanal and high-level wine for more than 15 years. His experience has been built through tastings, travels and encounters with producers.
He has been working at Cuvée 3000 for more than 10 years, having previously worked at Lavinia (Paris) and Wein & Glas (Berlin).
He enjoys sharing and spreading his passion for wine with an open and curious perspective, attentive to the evolution of the sector and free from rigid labels or fixed viewpoints.
