EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

Did you say 'tannin'? And why will Priorat never be Burgundy, nor Burgundy ever be Priorat?

A session to introduce you to the world of wine—so you can stop feeling intimidated by what’s in your glass!

In this tasting, we’ll explore the essentials of understanding red wine and *terroir*. You’ll discover how soil, climate, and the producer’s touch translate into character in the glass, with practical tasting tips and plenty of room for discussion and regional comparisons.

JÉRÔME

Jérôme Siffermann has been immersed in the world of high-quality, artisanal, and natural wines for over 15 years. He has built his expertise through tastings, travels, and meetings with producers. He has been with Cuvée 3000 for more than a decade, having previously worked at Lavinia (Paris) and Wein & Glas (Berlin).

He enjoys sharing his passion for wine with an open and curious mindset, remaining attentive to the sector's evolution while avoiding labels or narrow perspectives.

WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM THIS EXPERIENCE?

You will learn to understand red wine beyond just its flavor: you will recognize tannins, structure, and the impact of *terroir*. You will compare different regions and understand why the same grape tells such different stories depending on the soil and climate where it grew.
