WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Learn how to make a sourdough starter for bread-making and how to keep it alive. In this workshop, you will receive a full technical explanation and put all the learning into practice, taking home a jar with a live sourdough starter to continue the experience. This way, you can create your own sourdough bread using flour, Maldon salt, and water.
PA DE KILO
Pa de Kilo is the visible face of Oswaldo Brito (former professor at the Hoffman Escola d’Hostaleria) and Jordi Mestre (founder of Nomad Café). Every morning they manually light the oven they have in Raval to offer us specialty breads made with sourdough.
WORKSHOP BY MALDON SALT
In this edition, the emblematic Sal Maldon brand will once again act as the guiding thread of a programme of workshops, through which the versatility of salt in different areas of gastronomy will be demonstrated.
