WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Ginger beer is a fermented soft drink rich in live microorganisms. Its flavor is sweet, slightly sour and spicy.
In this workshop you will learn how to brew your own Ginger Beer from scratch; we will talk about its history and origin. We will elaborate Ginger Beer step by step: we will teach you how to create your own ginger mother "Ginger Bug", the essential culture to be able to make your fermented drink at home.
And we will finish tasting the Ginger Beer!
HERBIVORE PLANT BASED & FERMENTED FOOD
Herbivore was born in Reus by Mon and Ferran, passionate about fermentation, food and healthy, sustainable, ethical and ecological life.
In our workshop, we elaborate with love, fermented foods based 100% on vegetables, respecting the ingredients and using ancestral techniques obtaining with it many benefits for the organism.
We elaborate different types of fermented foods such as kimchi, sauerkraut, coconut kefir, cashew yoghurt... And we create fermented vegetable cheeses based on nuts and cereals.
We also elaborate delicious sweets with healthy sweeteners with low glycemic index. Raw sweets (no cooking and no flour) and cooked with gluten-free flours.
We have a physical store and cafeteria in Reus where you can taste all our products.
We love to transmit knowledge, that's why we created our Training School, where we teach workshops on fermentation and healthy habits.
All our packaging is 100% plastic free, recyclable and/or compostable and we are committed to returnable packaging.
